Announcement On Delay in Connecting Calls via the Telegram

Recently, the Telecommunication Regulator of Cambodia (TRC) has observed that some users have experienced disruptions when using Telegram. These disruptions are mainly related to the connection of voice and/or video calls, where users may experience a delay of approximately 5 to 10 seconds before the call connection is fully established. This may affect the quality of conversations, particularly for those who use Telegram for business, work, and daily communication.

In response to this matter, TRC has been working closely with Telegram’s technical team to identify the cause of the issue and find appropriate solutions, with the aim of restoring the quality of voice and video call services to normal as soon as possible.
